Gender Equity in Built Environment Professions Conference

Join us on Friday 16th February as we discuss women’s participation in the built environment professions with world-leading experts and researchers. Taking place at 1 WML, Dublin, this agenda-setting conference will discuss gender equity in architecture, planning, engineering, and the construction industry, as well as practice, policy and pedagogical approaches to tackle inequality in the built environment professions.

Policymakers, representatives of professional and industry bodies are invited to attend alongside practitioners and members of the public. The conference is primarily an in-person event, though it will be possible to attend online also.

Attendance is free but registration is required.

Members of the RIAI, IPI, and Engineers Ireland will be able to claim CPD points/hours for attendance.

The conference is convened by Dr Dervla MacManus and Prof Katherine O’Donnell, UCD School of Philosophy, and is part of the Gender Equity in Irish Architecture research project funded by the Irish Research Council and the RIAI.

We are generously supported by our headline sponsor Jacobs Engineering Ireland and sponsors ARUP, STW Architects, the Construction Industry Federation, and Hibernia Real Estate Group Limited.  We are also grateful to UCD School of APEP and UCD College of Social Sciences and Law for their support.
